Hello and welcome. This is the LDS Military Members Podcast. This podcast was born to supplement the Military Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Facebook group. While the group is a phenomenal resource for all things military and LDS related, we thought it would be great to highlight our members in a conversation style podcast to better understand the different branches, jobs, challenges and successes of our military members their families and friends. The long form podcast can bring in depth helps, insights, and is a great way to simply have fun and build community. Sam Brunette

Sam is a twelve year Veteran of the United States Air Force and life long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. With a day job now in manufacturing Sam lives with his lovely wife Sara Southern Indiana. When not focusing on hosting, Sam enjoys spending time with his family, traveling to visit his adult children (one of whom is a U.S. Marine) and writing. His first novel Jack Stall: The March West is a historical fiction adventure following a young man who joins the Mormon Battalion on their journey to fight in the Spanish American War.
When asked why he is so dedicated to hosting LDS Military Members, Sam said,
"There is nothing more important than living our faith and helping others do the same. The support we can give is ever more important for those who are thousands of miles away from home and often in harms way."
